LOVE THE COFFEE POT CAFE, great food at a reasonable price, awesome service from the Waitresses, just wish they were open a little bit later though! But good things are always limited ! Oh yeah their Carmel and Cinnamon rolls are fire ( Great) !!

It's a great place to eat, and the owner is a home town girl, next time your looking for a place to eat . Head over to Coffee Pot they will take great care of you..

It was good.... but they grilled our toast. Please buy a toaster.... neither of us ate our toast because it's such a bad taste on the griddle compared tti the toaster.

Excellent breakfast and even better service. Cook came out to tell my 2 little boys about the Mickey Mouse pancakes he makes, and they were sold. Very friendly staff and bottomless coffee. Will definitely go again when In the area.

A very nice small cafe very cozy. Food has always tasted great the many times I have gone here. Only thing i would say could be a flaw to this place is it needs more parking.

Breakfast was delicious and the service was quick and friendly! I ordered the Big Boy breakfast and had more than enough to take a small box home. The staff clearly enjoy their jobs and have fun together which adds to the ambience. The ladies room was also stocked with extra necessities- perfume, tampons, hair spray. Nice touch! Forgot to mention: they only accept cash or check! An ATM is available.

Very good! Traditional breakfast and lunch place with lots of regulars that come in. Waitress was very friendly and good. Had French toast, loved that it was the traditional thick cut style bread and perfectly done! It didn't show up right away on MapQuest so had to look a little closer to find it.

I wanted to eat breakfast at a local restaurant before I started my trip back to the DFW area. I searched Google for a good spot, and the Coffee Pot caught my attention. I headed over and walked in. It was indeed a nice local Cafe. I ordered the Everything Omelette which was great for my low carb diet. Wait staff was very friendly and always kept my coffee cup full. If you haven't been here before then drop by. You will like it.

Sausage was so flavorful. I had a Belgian waffle and cinnamon bun; they were both delicious! Friendly wait staff. Just remember to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards.

I'm always glad I went to the Coffee Pot. Perfect balance of quality, portion, and price. The friendly small talk is free.

Take note: this establishment is only open until 3pm and they only accept cash or check. Both of these facts are posted on their door, but it's good to know ahead of time. Luckily we were traveling, so I had my checkbook on me. :)We had soup and sandwiches. Me a grilled cheese, the wife a BLT. The daughter had a blueberry pancake. They made her a special Mickey Mouse -shaped pancake, and gave her a Dumdum sucker at the end. The food was good for sure, the environment was cozy, the service was nice and friendly. The bathrooms were nice and clean, although they used low-wattage bulbs -- possibly to save power -- so they were pretty dark. My wife said it was nice that they had a basket of items such as hairspray, perfume, lotion, etc. to freshen up with in the ladies' room. I'd come back try breakfast next time.

Great spot to stop by to have breakfast. Place has a home town feel, small and quaint. Food was great, service was also good. No complaints. One last thing food prices are below normal cost for food.

I went to the cafe with my friend, and we were so very pleased with our experience.The waitress was super easy to talk to and the food was absolutely delicious with incredibly reasonable prices. I completely recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or even brunch!

I ate here before coming a team member. I'd come to split the big boy breakfast with my son and we always left happy. Food is usually very satisfactory! Keep an eye out for the fun,ever changing decor & homemade desserts. If you like sweets the bread pudding is a must try. If you are human you will like the hot beef sandwich ("commercial")

Nice little spot. Definitely the best Biscuits and Gravy I've ever had! This place brings back memories since it was the first place we stopped after leaving for a 19hr road trip from Minneapolis to Banff, Canada.

Food was good. Waitress was rude and snatched the highchair out of my hands and slammed it down loudly next to my baby. Not happy!

The food is good the service is good and it's clean I had a blueberry pancake as big as my plate at my aunt had two eggs and toast and she ate her two eggs and half of her toast was it good

This place is great! Friendly service and a cute little diner. The caramel rolls are amazing! Buttery, caramely, soft deliciousness. The biscuits and gravy are BOMB!!! So good! Great hash browns too. Definitely check out this yummy little diner!

This is our go to spot for a quick affordable breakfast or lunch when we are up at the cabin.We have been frequenting coffee pot cafe since it orginally opened, and the food, portions, homemade soups, deserts and prices never disappoint us.Very very soon the coffee cup cafe legacy will continue on it's legacy in the former pizza hut location.

Hearty portions and reasonable prices.I stopped in at the Coffee Pot based on a couple of Yelp reviews that were favorable. This was my first time using Yelp to find a restaurant.This place has good service with an edge (intentionally snippy but funny waitstaff), and the food was excellent.I had the Western Skillet, which is basically a scrambled omelet. The vegetables were fresh, and the potatoes were not your typical frozen potatoes. They were clearly fresh and diced to order. I was only able to finish about half of my skillet, which means the portion was incredible.My niece ordered the pancakes, which were a stack of plate-sized pancakes. She only finished about 1/4 of the stack, and I had pancake leftovers for two more breakfasts!In all, we enjoyed the experience, atmosphere, and the portions. If you ever need to stop in Alex for breakfast, this is the place to go.
